Today we played a mixture of competitions. The main competition was Greensomes which was a nice change from the normal team games. Because there was an odd number of players, Dennis and Richard volunteered to play normal Stableford. Dennis was the winner with 40 points, playing off 5 h/c. and was rewarded with a special prize sponsored by the Captain. There was also one Doubles Knockout match being played between Clive Dresner and Doris Shearman-Earp against Edi Rogers and Stephen Grey. Edi and Stephen won by 2 and 1, partly due to their excellent putting skills.
We had 4 guests playing with us today. The winner was Iain Pyman with Hans becoming second. Both received a bottle of wine.

There was one two today: Clive Dresner who made it look easy. Clive gets the customary golf ball.

3rd place with a net 77 off combined 21 hcp, Rip Rippingale/Chris van Bemmelen
2nd place with a net 76 off combined 23 hcp, John Webber/Jim Reid
1st place with a net 71 off combined 20 hcp, Tony Dewavrin/Sally Rippingale (you left them standing, well done!)
