Today we played an Individual Stableford competition. The high humidity was bothering some of our players but the temperature was in the mid twenties – very pleasant compared to the autumn weather in Northern Europe. Clive and Helmut were the only two who played to or under par and Clive has now overtaken Dennis in the consistency results. One shot in particular was worth mentioning: Stephen Grey had an impressive chip into the hole from over 50m away, alas only to rescue a point.
After the prize giving our President reminded the members that as part of his President’s Day on 16 October he has arranged a dinner and is still awaiting response to his email from some of the members.
