Today we played our last medal of the year. We had a
full capacity turn-out of 37 members and 5 guests. The weather was kind to us after having had
quite a bit of rain lately. Congratulations
to Stephen who is in top form and followed up his win on Captains Day with
winning the medal today. Commiserations
go to David who narrowly missed out on the medal. Graham, our Captain, brought along his own
caddy, Angel, and one wonders whether his score was influenced by the support
he received. Angel, our Competition
Secretary, unfortunately is not able to play at present as he has had an
operation on his shoulder. We wish him
speedy recovery! The cliffhanger
continues on the Consistency Chart with Dennis regaining top place.
The two guest prizes were won by Doke from Holland and
again, Brian Wakeley, both scoring 31 Stableford points..

There were two twos today, from Stan Tarabula on hole
4 and Luc Verhaegen on hole 8. Well done to both of them as they were not even
nearest to the pin. They receive the customary golf ball.
