Today we played Individual Stableford which also
qualified for the Ford League Competition.
We had a full house with all the allocated tee-times being occupied and consequently had an earlier start than is
normal for the winter months.
Some of us are struggling with the early tee-times, especially on these
cold winter mornings. Thanks goes to Graham,
our Captain, who tries to accommodate as much as possible the varies requests from the members.
Congratulations to all the winners for the excellent results
which have been much higher than of late.The shot of the day goes to Luc Verhaegen on hole 17. His second shot was heading into the water and Luc was ready to play a new ball, when seconds later the original ball took a big jump out of the water with great speed and landed a good 50 yards sideways of its point of entry giving Luc a good line onto the green. That’s what you call a Member’s Bounce!

There was one two today on hole 8 from today’s winner,
our octogenarian David Davies. He receives the customary golf ball.
