This was our third competition after Lock-down. Our thanks go to Captain Graham and Vice-Captain Brian to sort out the order of play.
Unlike before the crisis, the new Bonalba Corona Protocol does not allow block bookings, which means quite a bit of extra work for the Captain. Therefore, it would be very much appreciated if you honour your reservation and only cancel if there is an emergency.
We had 22 members playing Individual Stableford. As, at the moment, these games are totally non-qualifying, there should not be too much pressure, but despite of this, nobody was able to reach par this week. Neither were there any twos today. If everything goes well, the Captain is hoping to spur us on and will restart qualifying competitions again in July.
Congratulations to today’s winner, David Payne, who managed to get that extra point ahead of Moe. It was also nice to see our Vice-Captain Brian on the winners’ list, especially so, as he has been suffering from recent injuries. Also, well done to the “formidable couple” John and Jan for 4th and 5th place.
