This Wednesday, our new Captain, Pascale Leroux, took charge for the summer season May to July. She decided to start her reign with an Individual Stableford competition and postpone Medal play until next week. We had 21 members in today’s competition which was an overall qualifier, including handicap adjustments with the Spanish Federation.
The overall scoring today was below average, probably due to the windy and rainy weather conditions which became worse for the later tee-times. Everyone played below par, except for the winners in both Division. In Division 2, there were 4 players competing for second place, all with 30 points and Karine came out top with the best back 9, ahead of Stan, Santi and Deirdre. Congratulations to Richard and Doris for their excellent results and well done to everyone else for not giving up.
Please remember that next Wednesday there will be our customary Lunch after Medal Play.
