Today there were 22 members and one guest, playing an enjoyable Individual Stableford. This competition had the motto “Golf is a Beach”, which didn’t qualify for handicap purposes.
As the greens had been hollow-tined, our Captain decided that there should only be a maximum of two putts on every hole, which turned out to be somewhat generous, as, to the delight of everyone, you only had to land somewhere on the green to be guaranteed a 2-putt result. Consequently, there were some above average scores posted.
