For today’s competition, our Captain had decided to do something different. The format was Individual Stableford, but the choice of clubs was restricted to 4, plus the putter.
We had 18 members and one guest, with the men playing off the blue tees.
This format certainly was a challenge, especially when it came to the approach shots or if you had to play out of a bunker. Consequently, the scores posted were a little lower than usual. Also, the restricted club choice seemed to have made it more difficult for the ladies to reach the par 3 greens.
Congratulations to the winners, and especially to Richard, who was the only player achieving a par result. It was good to see Graham back, and in form, after his recent operation on his hand.

There was one two today, which came from Derek, not on hole 4, but on hole 8.
