Today we were 19 members and 5 guests from Belgium, who joined in the team competition and Nearest the Pins, as we were “waltzing” down the golf course, 123, 123 ……
The format was Individual Stableford, where you counted the teams’ 1 best score on the 1st hole, 2 best scores on the 2nd hole, 3 best scores on the 3rd hole, starting again with 1 score on the 4th, etc.
Par for the Waltz was 72 points and all teams were on par or better. The winning team came in with an outstanding score which was 10 points ahead of the runner-up team.

The weather contributed to a very enjoyable day with nice sunshine and no wind.
We finished prize giving with a glass of cava presented by Jean-Paul in honour of his birthday yesterday and shared with Kate Hurley whose birthday was today.
A very Happy Birthday to both of them.
