Today we played our last competition before the
summer break. Quite a few of our members
are already away, so only 20 members and 1 guest braved the hot and humid
conditions. Although the sun was not
out, it was very humid and black clouds all around us threatening a
thunderstorm. Luckily this did not
materialize and some good results were achieved.
Despite the low number of players, our Captain
decided to still award 5 prizes instead of the normal 3 prizes for a low
attendance.
If you still want to play on Wednesdays from now
until the end of August, please contact Brian Hines who is organizing informal
games similar to Monday play.
We hope you have a good summer and to see you
all back for the Away Day to Villaitana Poniente on 29 August.
