Venue: Bonalba Golf & Spa
Today’s competition was Individual Stableford, which was an overall qualifier, including handicap adjustments with the Spanish Federation. We had 22 members and 2 guests taking part. The members divided into 9 players in Division 1 and 13 in Division 2.
There were some good results in both Divisions. Congratulations to all the winners and especially to Albert and Santi, for playing better than par. In Division 2, Doris narrowly missed out for second place to Moe, as the Society rules are based on a better back 9.
This had been the last competition which was organised by Robert Heyens, our Captain for the 2024 Spring season. We would like to thank him for his patience and usual enthusiasm steering the ship through rough and smooth waters.
We are now looking forward to the Summer season headed by our new Captain, Pascale Leroux. We wish her well in her period of Captaincy.
