Another unusually hot September day awaited us as 28
members signed in to play the September Medal.
We also had 3 guests who competed for the guest prize playing Individual
Stableford.
There were quite a high number of no returns, 5 in
total. On a more positive note, our winner Pierre had a very good round playing
below par. We hope you will enjoy the Limoncella which is, besides the prize at the year end presentation, the additonal Monthly Medal prize sponsored by Michael. Also, both Captain and Vice-Captain found themselves on the winner’s
list. Nino, coming third had the lowest gross score with 81 ahead of 5th
place Eddie Fagg coming in with a gross score of 88. Eddie, our newest member is proving himself
to be a very steady player climbing up the Consistency Chart at a fast rate.
Many congratulations to everyone on the winners’ list!
After golf, as is the custom at Medal Play, we stayed
on at the Club for a very enjoyable tapas meal and thank you Nino for treating
us to a glass of “bubbly” after the meal to belatedly celebrate your birthday.

The guest prize was won by Tony Dewavrin with 30
