It is with great sadness to have to inform you that Guy Letort passed away on Friday morning, the 9th August 2019. Unfortunately, despite brave efforts, he was not able to conquer his cancer.
He was introduced into our Society in 2010 and showed his appreciation on many occasions for welcoming him as a member and overcoming the language differences in what was then still very much more English based.
Guy enjoyed his golf to the full and when he left for France at the beginning of May for check ups, we were looking forward to seeing him again soon but sadly that was not the case.
Not only did he enjoy his golf but equally enjoyed the social life of the Society, together with his charming wife Anny. He will be sorely missed on and off the golf course.
Our thoughts are with Anny and family in these difficult times and we would like to extend our most sincere condolences.
Guy also loved the sea and boats and he wished for his ashes to be scattered in the ocean.
