Morning Doris. Hoping this mail finds you well and not out of wine. I am sure you realise that today would have been Angels wedding day. Who would have thought things world wide would have developed in the way they have. We have not been to Spain since November and goodness knows when we will eventually return. I had a call from my consultant yesterday who informed he he was well pleased with my progress and that 2 of cancers had reduced in size, really made my day. He is arranging for my next scan in 6 months time, and in the just meantime keep taking the meds and having the injections. Hopefully it won’t be long before you can all commence golf and get back to something resembling normal, and at least the way most of you play you will be able to keep your distance. We were supposed to be in the Maldives now but without doubt we are better here in the UK. A few of our furloughed mechanical engineers are returning as some of the sites have continued to stay open and all the electrical engineers have worked throughout. Caroline has kept me busy following her shoulder operation 6 weeks ago, learnt loads of new skills, preparing and cooking food, even washed the windows, but refuse point blank to do ironing. She is still in a lot of pain especially during the night, and has been receiving regular on line visits from her physiotherapist, and will receive a call from her consultant next week. Well the sun has decided to come back out so I will go and sit in the summerhouse read my on line paper trying to miss the all too frequent bad news, but at least having been given 6 months till my next scan I have no need to check the obituaries to see if my name is down. Best wishes to you all and stay safe. Jeff
