2020: Indiv. Stableford (18. & 25.11.)

Winners 25.11.2020

Venue:  Bonalba Golf & Spa,

 

On both Wednesdays we played Individual Stableford, qualifying also for the Bonalba WH Series for those members who are registered with the Spanish Golf Federation.  On the 18^th, we awarded five prizes as there were 30 players. On the 25^th, there were 29 players which meant that 4 prizes were awarded.

Although we are now in November, the weather is holding up well.  The early mornings are a bit chilly but the sun soon warms up proceedings.

Again, there were some very good results.  Jim Hurley narrowly beat Erik Paesmans for 4^th place with a better score on the last 6 holes.  On Wednesday, the 25^th, our Captain Graham played a fantastic round of golf and came in with 43 points. Congratulations to him and well played to everyone on the winners’ podium.

Erik Paesmans had a good day on the par 3's.  He was nearest on 2 holes, had a birdie on another and nearly had a hole in one on hole 4 when his ball hit the flag pole, but unfortunately the ball did not drop in.

 

There was a presentation today for both Wednesdays.  After the presentation, we were saying our good-byes to Neville and Sandra, who have decided to return to the UK.  Please see a separate tribute to them.
