Due to the Corona Pandemic, we had been waiting a long time for this, in fact it was 1 year and 2 months. But finally, it took place today – the belated St. Patrick’ Day competition, sponsored generously by our Irish friends Jim and Kate Hurley.
It certainly was worth waiting for. Jim and Kate, with the help of Brian and Graham, made it a memorable day for all of us. There were lots of prizes and the atmosphere at prize giving was reminiscent of the “good all days” before the virus hit us, with Irish music and some cava and Guinness.

32 members and guests took part in the competition which was Individual Stableford. Also, we were delighted to welcome back John Garnett and Jan Boultbee after their spell in the UK.
