Today we celebrated a combined Captain’s/President’s Day. As Corona is still very much with as, we decided to just have one special event this year, to reduce the risk of getting infected
On this occasion, we decided not to apply the two Divisions but award the Trophies and prizes on the best overall results. Also, to give a wider spread of prizes, you could only win in one of the two competitions.
The format for the Captain’s Trophy was normal Individual Stableford, and for the President’s Trophy Strokesford, which was Medal play on the front 9 and Stableford on the back 9, deducting the Stableford points from the net strokes on the front 9.
Apart from the 4 nearest the pins, there were additional prizes, as shown below.
We had an excellent turn-out of 34 members who, with their guests, enjoyed a free drink from the bar, before the lunch and prize giving.
