Today we played our last Medal competition of the 2021 season, as our Society year starts in February of each year. The format was Maximum Sore.
Some of our members are still away, so the turn-out was still low with 16 members and 2 guests. Unfortunately, the weather was not very kind to us. Although sunny, the strong winds which had started the previous night continued throughout the morning.
The winds had also made it difficult for anyone to reach the longer par 3' on the back 9.
Peter and Brian Wakely were the only players who did not seem to be affected by the conditions and must be congratulated for posting their very good results. Also, Peter, our overall winner, continued his good form from last week.
