This morning we assembled to watch our new Captain, Robert Heyens, perform his drive-in and treat us to some coffee and cakes. As in previous years, we had a bet on where the ball would land. It was a good drive which landed on the right near the far bunker. There were two lucky winners, John Garnett and Moe Farouky.
As this was also the first Wednesday in the month, our new Captain decided to play the Monthly Medal competition. We had a turn-out of 23 members and 5 guests on this beautiful sunny and exceptionally warm day. Special congratulations go to Stan Tarabula and our ex Captain Brian Hines for playing their round under par and coming first in their respective divisions.
