2022: Rainbow Game (25.5.)

Venue:  Bonalba Golf & Spa, 25.5.22

  

This Wednesday we had 8 tee-times which were fully booked with 31 members and one guest and we played a fun game called “Rainbow”.  We were all wondering how this would work out as the rules were somewhat unusual, in that on holes 2 -17, every player had to drive four times from each tee, the red, yellow and th white, scoring the usual Stableford points.  To even things out, the men played minus two shots of their normal playing handicap and the ladies had eight shots added to their handicap.

 

So it was all about having a plan of which tee to choose on each hole.

 

The Ladies were a bit worried about having to use the white tees, but looking at the results, they coped very well.

 

Needless to say that this game did not qualify for any competitions or handicap.

 

There was also the presentation of the Spring Cava Challenge, kindly sponsored by Stan and Christiane Tarabula.
