Today’s competition was Individual Stableford which qualified for all Society Competitions and also for handicap adjustments.
We had a turn-out of 23 members. The weather forecast was for thunderstorms which luckily did not materialise. However, there was a short shower which contained a lot of sand and we did have to cope with high humidity.
Having said that, congratulation to the four winners who all played to par or better.
We were pleased to welcome back Jim and Kate Hurley and Jean-Claude and Klaudia Martinez from their summer breaks in Ireland and Switzerland respectively.
We are looking forward to next week which will be President’s Day with lots of prizes and a tapas lunch afterwards.

There were a total of 4 twos today, two of which went to Richard Davis on hole 4 and 14. The others were from John Garnett on hole 4 and Jim Hurley on hole 8.
