Today we played the November Medal Maximum Score. It qualified for all Society competitions and also handicap adjustments.
We had 28 members competing for the Medal and 1 guest who played Individual Stableford.
The weather was kind to us. Although we are now in November, the temperatures were very pleasant and not a lot of wind, giving ideal playing conditions. This was reflected in the final scores. The winners of Division 1 and 2 had remarkable scores, both below the 70 mark. Very well played, Eric and Santi and congratulations to them and the runner-ups.
A mention also to Helmut Treiber and Trish Kelleher who narrowly missed out on the prizes, both scoring a respectable net 73.
Today there was no lunch after the Monthly Medal, as there will be a lunch next week as part of the Captain’s Day Competition. We are all looking forward to this, hoping that we will be the one who will lift the Captain’s Trophy.
