Venue: Villaitana Levante
This Wednesday we played away from our home course Bonalba. Our Captain was able to secure a very good green fee deal with Villaitana Golf, so 15 members and one guest took advantage of this. The format was Individual Stableford which did not qualify for handicap adjustments.
Again, the heat made some of us struggle, especially on the back 9 which we played in the early afternoon when the temperatures were the highest. And again, like last week, there were others who coped very well and recorded some excellent scores.
Congratulations to Michael for the outstanding result of the day (it must have been the shirt!). Also congratulations to the Dewavrin family who secured second and third place, and Richard Moody, our guest player who came in with 39 points off 30 handicap.
Like last week, the main prizes for given to the best three players, irrespective of Divisons.
