This Wednesday’s competition format was Individual Stableford. This was the last competition which qualified for the 2023 Society competitions. The results were also forwarded to the Spanish Golf Federation for WWHC adjustments.
We had 23 players and some very good results in both Divisions. Derek Cruickshank received “Bob’s balls” for the best back 9, other than the winners.
Regarding the on-going saga about par 3 hole 11. This week it was open for both Divisions, and sure enough, again it was not won by a Division 1 player, but by Santi Hung of Division 2.
The best guest prize was won by Jean-Jaques Bourrier with 39 points off 28 hcp, who is a prospective member in the new Society year.

Next Wednesday, we are looking forward to the Annual Prize Presentation Lunch which will take place after the competition at Bonalba Golf Club.
