This being the first Wednesday of the month, we played the customary Monthly Medal Maximum Score, which qualified for all Society Competitions and handicap adjustments.
We had 21 members and one guest taking part today.
Congratulations to all the winners. The runner-up place in both Divisions was hotly contested. In Division 1 there were 3 players with a net 74 and unfortunately Santi Hung and Stan Tarabula missed out on lower handicap. In Division 2, Brian Wakely with a net 75 missed out to Pascale.
Next week, we will have a special farewell competition, which will be organised by Robert and Lief Heyens, who are moving away from Bonalba.
This is in combination with our usual Christmas Present competition. But instead of our normal present swap, we are supporting the children who have been affected by the terrible floods around Valencia and will not have a normal Christmas this year.
So, please bring a wrapped toy which will be sent via Cruz Roja for distribution to the children as part of the Three Kings’ Toy Appeal.
