Venue: La Sella Golf Resort
After the initial trip to La Sella in September had to be cancelled because of extreme rain, we arrived at La Sella to lovely sunny weather.
La Sella has three 9-hole courses, which gave us a good variation for our three rounds of golf.
On the first day we played Individual Stableford. The winners were
3rd place Jean-Jaques Bourrier with 29 points,
2nd place Derek Cruickshank with 29 points,
1st place Jean-Claude Martinez with 31 points.
On the second day we had a Texas Scramble. The winners were
2nd place Richard Davis, Jean-Jacques Bourrier with 40 points
1st place Derek and Karen Cruickshank, Klaudia Martinez, Doris Shearman-Earp with 44 points.
On the third day we had another Individual Stableford, with a different variation of courses. The winners were
Derek Cruickshank, Richard Davis and Jim Hurley, all with 31 points
The best combined Stableford scores were
2nd place Jean-Jacque Bourrier with 58 points
1st place Derek Cruickshank with 60 points
A big thank you goes to our Captain Karen, together with her two helpers Derek and Richard for their hard work and great efforts to make this a most enjoyable and memorable trip. We all had a great time on and off the golf course.
