2019: 25th Anniversary Stableford (1.5.)

Venue:  Bonalba Golf & Spa, 1 May 2019

 This year our Society is 25 years old.  To celebrate this anniversary, today’s Stableford competition was dedicated to this occasion.  Apart from the normal prizes, there were prizes for hidden holes for someone not in the main prizes, longest putt, birdies on all holes and guest prizes.  The top of the main leader board was closely contested and the winner had to be decided on count back of the back 9.  Congratulations to all four players for a very good result.

The prizes were presented at the Gala Dinner on the following Friday, the 3rd May at the Hotel Bonalba.  It was a splendid occasion, attended by some of the founder members, present members and their guests, reminiscing about old times.

Our thanks go to Gordon and Jan for taking care of the organisation at the hotel and making sure that everyone had a wonderful time and thank you Gordon for the slide show displaying photos of members past and present which was bringing back great memories.  The evening finished with music and dancing.
