This Wednesday we gathered together to compete in President’s
Day. The prizes were awarded at the Dinner Dance on the following Saturday, 16th
November, held at the Bonalba Hotel.
Over 60 members and guests attended the Dinner and
thanks to the superb organisation by our President Gordon Burton, a good time
was had by all.
A big thank you to Gordon and his helpers for making
it another memorable event in the history of our Society.
And a special thank you to the Half-Way House
Ladies, for looking after us with an array of delicious food and setting us up
for the back 9.
Our congratulations go to Graham Sutton, the
winner of this year’s President’s Trophy, who played a magnificent game, coming
in with 40 points. We also congratulate
Rob, Pierre, John and Michael for their places on the winners’ board.
