2019: Indiv. Stableford Q and best 3-holes (27.11.)

Winning smiles on a sunny day
Venue:  Bonalba Golf & Spa, 27 November 2019

On this Wednesday there were a variety of competitions.  There were two matches in the quarter finals of the Doubles Knock-out competition.  All other members played Singles Stableford competing for the best 3 places instead of the normal 5 places, as there were also 6 more prizes, based on best score in each group of 3 holes arranged in order of difficulty.  Many thanks to Greta who printed out special scorecards with different colours for each group of holes and organising this part of the competition.
Also a thank you to Jan for organising the remainder of today’s competition including the knock-out matches.

The prizes of the “3-holes” competition were awarded to players who were not in the three main prizes.  This gave a chance of a prize to players who played well in parts. Looking at the points, everyone had at least one net birdie on one of the three holes.
Congratulations to Pascale and Nick for coming second and third in the main competition and especially to Gordon, our President, for a very good win and an excellent nearest the pin on hole 4, just missing out on a hole in one.
