2021: Indiv. Stableford (9.7.)

Venue:  Bonalba Golf & Spa 

 

This week’s competition was Individual Stableford, with 25 members taking part.  After the high scoring of recent weeks, today’s scores were more in line with handicaps.  Eddy Fagg and Greta played just one point below par and Jean-Paul Leroux was the only player who had a round above par.

We recently had more rain, unusual for this time of the year, which gave the grass a boost but which stopped the ball from having a good run.

 

The “man in charge of the wine” was back today, so there was a presentation for last week’s medal and also today’s competition.

3^rd place with 34 points off 9 hcp  – Richard Davis, beating Edi Rogers and Jim Hurley on the back 9

2^nd place 35 points off 10 hcp – Greta Biersteker

1^st place with 35 points off 15 hcp  – Eddy Fagg, beating Greta on the back 9

2^nd place with 32 points off 26 hcp – Chris van Bemmelen

1^st place with 37 points off 27 hcp  – Jean-Paul Leroux
