Today we played our October Medal competition. We had 25 members competing for the Medal and three guests. This competition qualified for all Society competitions and also for the Worldwide Handicap.
The outstanding scores today came from Helmut Treiber and Anne Brook. This is the third time in succession that Helmut is heading Division 1. In Division 2, Anne, only recently returned from the UK, did not take long to settle into her game in Spain, was the winner by 4 shots. Very well played, Helmut and Anne.
Also congratulations to Santi, Erik, Chris and Luc, the runners-up, for very good rounds of golf.
This was Erik’s first game back from Belgium, and he showed that he had not lost his touch by scoring an Eagle on the par 5 hole 15. Many congratulations, Erik!
