2022: Monthly Medal (6.4.)

Today's and last week's proud winners

Venue:  Bonalba Golf & Spa

 

Today we played our April Medal.  We were pleased to see that the spell of rainy weather had finally passed and, although still cloudy, we were able to see at least some blue sky.  We had a full house with 27 members and 5 guests, who played Individual Stableford.

 

For some reason, there were no outstanding scores today, the best being Marcel who played to par. Congratulations to him and also to Michael, Graham and Heidi.

Congratulations also to Marcel and Richard for their accuracy on the par 3’s, getting 2 nearest each.

Our Captain had arranged to resurrect the monthly lunch after the Medal competition and had a very good response.  32 members and guests enjoyed the meal and get-together, this time at the Bonalba restaurant, and we look forward to another enjoyable meal next month.

The Captain also reminded us that next week we will play the first of two ”Ryder Cup” style games, which he hopes will be good fun and well attended.  The draw and details will be announced on Monday next. 

On the day, we will also enjoy a “half way house” with food provided by Heather and Hazel, and going by past occasions, it will be totally delicious.  Thank you in advance to both of them.
