Today we played an Individual Stableford competition which should have been the last qualifier of the 2022 season for the Society competitions and handicap adjustments.
However, the weather gods were not kind to us and presented us with gale force winds which brought with it low temperatures. 20 members started the round but only 13 die-hards finished the 18 holes. Some players coped better than others and came in with very respectable scores, especially from our Belgian contingent. Very well played Richard, Robert, Luc and Lief.
Under these circumstances, the Captain decided that the game should not qualify for handicap adjustments.
The wind also made it hard to reach the longer par threes on the back 9. As nobody was on the greens, the two prizes went into a raffle.
