Today we played our last game under the Captainship of our 2022 Captain Robert Heyens. He decided that it should be a fun competition called “The Rainbow Game”. Everyone had to play 4 holes each from the white, yellow, blue and red tees, and the 1st and 18th hole from the yellow tees for the men and red tees for the ladies. The format was Individual Stableford and for this game the ladies received 5 more shots and the men 5 less shots.
After a number of last-minute cancellations, we had 24 participants, 21 members and 3 guests.
Apart from today’s prize giving, we also presented the Annual Prizes at a lunch in the Bonalba Restaurant, attended by members and guests. See the results of the Annual Prizes in a separate post.
Our new Captain is Richard Davis who thanked Robert for his hard work during his year of Captaincy and introduced his ideas for the coming year. Details will be posted very soon.
