On this first Wednesday of the month, we played the March Monthly Medal Maximum Score, which qualified for all Society Competitions and handicap adjustments.
We had an attendance of 21 members, 9 in Division 1 and 12 in Division 2, and the Captain was pleased to announce that this time there had not been any last minute cancellations.
The best scores came from the Division 2 players, the winner and runner-up both playing under par. The outstanding result came from Edi Rogers with an incredible net 63.
Many congratulations to him and also to Heidi, Robert and Maurice.
On this occasion, it was decided not to have the usual Medal Lunch, as there will be a big lunch next week as part of the St. Patrick’s Day competition, sponsored by our Irish friends Jim and Kate Hurley.
To enter into the spirit of the occasion, please remember to wear something green.

There was one two today which came from Brian Wakely on hole 14. It was a magnificent put from one end of the green into the hole on the other end.
