This Wednesday we played the August Monthly Medal, playing the front 9 twice. The format, as always, was maximum double par per hole and qualified for handicap purposes
We had 19 members and one guest competing, in this searing heat. The extreme weather conditions showed up in the results. There were quite a few net scores in the high 70´s. The outstanding score was from Tony with 71. His special method of keeping cool might have just done the trick.
Well done Santi, who made the par 3, hole 4 his own.

After golf we got together for lunch at the Club Restaurant inSavia. We were delighted that Stan and Christiane Tarabula joined us for the meal and hope that Stan will be able to return to golf very soon.
