Another good field of 38 members, plus one guest, presented themselves for today's Stableford challenge. The weather was again very kind to us - lots of sun and just a gentle breeze. Little wonder then scores were on the whole very good, the best of all being carded by our Norwegian winner Ricky Nelson who came in with 40 points. His handicap will be adjusted accordingly.
The list below will show that those who came in behind him also turned in good performances, and it was especially pleasing to see our President, Neville Woodfine, rolling the years back with a very creditable 35 points, giving him 5th place.
The top 2 players this week not only received the usual bottles of wine from the club's cellars but also a generous prize each from Specsavers (Benidorm), kindly presented by their Director, Snr. Jorge Martinez, pictured above.
Next week we will have to try to be at our very best when teeing off- it's the monthly medal competition again.
