Our last competition for this year was an Individual Stableford. Some of our members had already gone back to
their home country for the festive season, so the attendance was down to 24
members and 2 guests.
It was a great day to play golf.
The temperature went up to 20 deg and there was hardly any wind. These ideal conditions seemed to be reflected
in the scoring. There were some
exceptional results and the top five players all came in with scores better
than par. Stan surpassed everyone with
42 points, closely followed by Michael and Jan whose scores had to be separated
on count-back. Both scored 22 points and
19 points over 9 holes, but Michael had his 22 points on the back 9 and
therefore was awarded 2nd place.
Congratulations to everyone on the winners’ board for some excellent
rounds of golf.
That only leaves us to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and good
golfing in 2019!
