With the festive season over, we jumped right into some serious golf to
compete for the Monthly Medal. As the
Society calendar starts in February, this was the last Medal which counted for
the 2018 season. Quite a few members
have now returned, so we had full attendance of 39 players.
For this Medal, the Captain had decided that the male players with a
higher handicap should play from the blue tees with their handicap adjusted
accordingly. This decision seemed to
have spurred on some of the players, as shown in the results.
Congratulations to everyone on the winners’ board, to Luc, Rejanne,
Pierre, Erik and especially to Gordon, who bagged the last Medal of the
