2019: Indiv. Stableford SQ (10.7.)

Beaming faces of winners looking forward to opening their prizes

Another Wednesday, another hot one, and another close-run finish.

24 members overnight (nice for 4 ball grouping) became 21 by Wednesday morning  - not so nice, requiring some deft reorganisation by our duty person, Jan, into 3 3balls and 3 4balls. Impossible to get the groups with 3 players out in front with such late changes, so members hopefully understood why events sometimes get in the way of the organiser's original intentions (or as John Lennon put it -  "Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans.)

17 out of the 20 cards processed showed scores of 30 points or more, so well done to all of those who gained respectable scores in strength-sapping conditions.  If you have studied the MasterScoreboard results page, you may have seen that one of our finest players, Nino, who came in with 46 recently, only scored 20 this time - but you must understand that, feeling unwell, he only played 9 holes!

Today's Hidden Holes Prize (sponsored by Jan y John) was awarded for the best total scored on the most difficult-rated holes in last week's Medal i.e. Holes 1, 2, 9, 17 and 18. Three players totalled 11 points, but the only one not to be involved in the main prizes was Luc Verhaegen, so he got the sleeve of balls. Well done.

Without further ado, then, here are the overall results:
