Your Captain and Vice-Captain have been busy finding a way to re-establish our Society. Taking into account the new Protocols and Booking system, they have devised the following procedures to get us going and let us compete again within our Society:
1. As before, you can now enter your name on Master Scoreboard “Future Competitions”, the first competition to start on Wednesday, 3 June 2020.
2. Graham and Brian will sort out the flights, taking into account the new booking requirements and will publish the tee-times on the blog. Because of the current booking rules, it may mean that tee-times are not allocated consecutively.
3. There will be one score card per flight. As there will be no socialising after the round of golf, the keeper of the score card will pass the scores on to Richard, by email or Whatsapp and the results will be published on the blog.
4. We will play Individual Stableford using the playing handicap as per Master Scoreboard. In the first instance, the competitions will be totally non-qualifying. There cannot be any nearest the pin prizes, but the Captain will try and find some other prizes that can be taken from the scores.
PLEASE NOTE: The white circle around the holes are “gimmies”, which means one extra shot.
5. The prizes won, will be carefully recorded and will be awarded at a later date when lockdown restrictions are lifted.
