On this Wednesday, we had 18 members who competed in the Individual Stableford competition which counted as a Society qualifier. The hot August temperatures did not seem to affect the performance of some of us who came in with top results. The outstanding player today was Greta, scoring a magnificent 42 points. Congratulations to her, but also to Michael, Edi, Luc and Chris for their very good results for places 2 to 5. Stan had the same points as Chris but missed out for 5th place on the back 9.
Unfortunately, for this competition, there will be prizes only for the first three places, due to the reduced number of players. The presentation of today’s prizes will be at a later date.
The summary of the competition are as follows:
5th place with 34 points off 25 hcp – Chris van Bemmelen, beating Stan on the back 9
4th place with 36 points off 31 hcp – Luc Verhaegen
3rd place with 37 points off 18 hcp – Edi Rogers
2nd place with 39 points off 12 hcp – Michael Davison
1st place with 42 points of 11 hcp – Greta Biersteker
