Venue: Bonalba Golf & Spa
This Wednesday’s competition was a regular Individual Stableford. Attendance was a bit lower than of late with 20 members and 3 guests. The weather did not help. We started off in an orangy grey haze, expecting a lot of rain, but there were only a few small showers. However, this was enough to cover us with the Sahara sand which had spread all over Europe.
This may have had an effect on today’s results as there were only two players who played to par. Well done Jan and Santi, the winners of Division 1 and 2.
The Captain reminded everyone that next Wednesday, we will have our first Away Day under his rule, sponsored by Bill Williams. The venue is Alicante Golf. There were still 4 places available for members or guests. The fee is €55 including shared buggy.

Finally, the Society shirts have arrived. For anyone, who has not yet collected them,
please do so as soon as possible. The price is €20 each. For extra shirts, please contact the Captain with size and number.
